FAQ
WHY US
At Sabre Tactical, we manufacture our products only in small batches right here in New Zealand. This means that if you own a piece of our gear, you won’t find a thousand others out in the hills using the same product. You are part of a unique group of people who have chosen to buy the best and to support our mission.
When you buy something from us, you support the daily operation of our business, our staff including their families and you help fund the thousands of hours we have invested over the years in R&D. That means the more you can support us, the more we can give back to our community. We know that without you, we wouldn't exist.
The short answer is no, we don’t. Except for a few like-minded companies who we collaborate with, you won't find our high-end products in franchise stores. We want to deal directly with you, our customers.
We are proud to be a direct-to-consumer business. This means we get the opportunity to build a relationship with our customers and get direct feedback about our products from the end-user. No middleman means there’s no big margins on top There’s no middleman, so there are no big margins on top. We can continue to manufacture in New Zealand and employ locals to design and produce our products. That’s important to us.
We don’t restrict our designs with a price point, we set out to make the best products we can. We do this by employing the best staff, investing in the best machinery available and importing raw materials from around the world.
We don’t change our designs by taking shortcuts, even if that means reducing manufacturing times. We don’t compromise on quality and we only use the best materials we can get. We don’t manufacture in huge volumes, this allows us to bring improvements quickly to the market. We back this up by a warranty and we stand by our products 100%.
That’s a big fat NO! We have high ethical standards, we will not directly copy or reverse engineer any of our competitor's products. What we can do, is take your requirements and make you something better. If we can't do that, we will happily recommend you go buy their product.
We believe that competition breeds excellence and manufacturing New Zealand-made products that can compete on the world stage is what gets us out of bed in the morning. Oh, and coffee! Take a look at our Special Projects Division chances are we can run your entire project in-house.
We do ship many of our products internationally with the exception of some restricted items. More countries will be added to our website soon. In the meantime, if you don’t live in New Zealand and your country is not on the list, please emailsales@sabretactical.co.nzfor a shipping quote.
